The Yellow Crane Tower stands atop Snake Hill in Wuchang, Wuhan, known as "The First Tower under Heaven." Built in 223 AD as a military watchtower, it later inspired poets like Cui Hao and Li Bai during the Tang Dynasty. The current structure, rebuilt in 1985, rises 51.4 meters with five tiers of yellow-glazed tiles. From the top, visitors enjoy panoramic views of the Yangtze River Bridge and the city. At night, a light show brings its history to life.
