Foreigners who fall under any of the following circumstances may come to China without a visa:
(1)Bilateral agreements
According to bilateral agreements or agreements signed or reached between China and relevant countries, people from certain countries who meet certain conditions can come to China without obtaining a visa. (3)Holders of valid alien residence permits issued by Chinese public security organs. Foreigners and resident foreign journalists who go to China for study, employment, family reunion or long-term visits to relatives must apply to the public security organs for the formalities for residence as foreigners after entering China. Within the validity period of the residence permit, foreigners may reside in China and enter and exit the country several times without the need to apply for a separate visa.
(4)Holders of valid permanent residence permits for foreigners of the People's Republic of China.
(5)Holders of valid APEC Business Travel Card (APEC Virtual Card holders will be eligible for visa-free entry from 1 May 2023).
(6)To the Pearl River Delta, Hainan Island, Guilin
1、Foreigners holding ordinary passports of countries with diplomatic relations with China who are already in Hong Kong or Macao and who enter the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong (the administrative regions of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing and Huizhou) in a group organized by travel agencies legally registered in Hong Kong or Macao for a stay of not more than 6 days may be exempted from visa application.

3、Tourist groups from the following countries (2 persons or more), which are received by travel agencies with qualifications approved by the tourism authority of Guilin, Guangxi, entering and leaving the whole group at Guilin Airport port, can stay in the administrative area of Guilin City without visa for no more than 6 days: Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines.
(7)Citizens of some countries holding ordinary passports can enter China visa-free for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends or transit for no more than 15 days. For more information, please consult the Chinese diplomatic missions in relevant countries.
(8)Visa-free entry or transit conditions may be subject to dynamic adjustment, it is recommended to further consult the Chinese embassy or consulate in the relevant country or the National Immigration Administration of China before travel.
